The Commune of Réchicourt le Château owns part of the surrounding ponds.
Some are notable for their shape, natural layout, fauna and flora.
Located close to the Canal de la Marne au Rhin, it is quite possible to consider a nice walk in this area
which may lead you to
the largest lock in France...
We will also see the dike that suggests the level of water before the major transformations related to the construction of the Grande Ecluse between 1962 & 1965.
